Ellis B. Ramirez
Ellis B. Ramirez is a patent attorney with broad experience in the preparation, prosecution, and licensing of intellectual property. As a Primary Examiner with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Mr. Ramirez handled a broad range of technologies in the internet related arts, such as, digital communication, simulation and modeling, network communication, measuring and testing, software, and controllers. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Ramirez was an Intellectual Asset manager at Dana Commercial Credit Corporation where he drafted patents applications, supervised outside patent counsel, led development of a licensing management software system. Prior to entering the legal profession, Mr. Ramirez was a System Engineer at Pratt and Whitney where he developed software applications that analyzed real-time aircraft engine test data.

Mr. Ramirez is a licensed New York state attorney and he is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He received an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from Pratt Institute in New York City, a J.D. from the District of Columbia School of Law and an M.B.A. from Indiana University. He is also a member of I.E.E.E.
